UI/UX Designer

Job description

Mayflower is a technology company building large-scale entertainment products for a global audience. Our platforms serve millions of users worldwide and rank among the top-50 most visited websites globally. For more than 10 years, we've been creating reliable, high-performance solutions at the intersection of product, engineering, and entertainment.

We’re looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer with strong visual craft, whose work will be focused on web and digital experiences for the Brand Marketing department.
You’ll work on a wide range of brand and marketing web experiences — including web pages, landing pages and campaign experiences — combining strong visual design with solid UX and interaction design principles.
We’re looking for someone who can translate brand creative direction into high-quality digital experiences, balancing visual expression with usability, interaction and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design web and digital experiences from initial concept through final UI and developer handoff.

  • Translate brand concepts and creative direction into engaging and usable digital interfaces.

  • Explore different visual and interface directions within the established brand direction to find the right solution for each project.

  • Work with information architecture, content hierarchy, navigation and user flows where needed.

  • Design responsive experiences across desktop and mobile.

  • Explore interactions, motion and micro-interactions where they add value to the experience.

  • Apply and reuse existing UI patterns, components and design-system principles to make solutions consistent and efficient.

  • Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, design and development teams throughout the design and implementation process.

  • Work with developers during implementation to maintain design quality in the final experience.

  • Work within agreed priorities, project goals, milestones and timelines.

Job requirements

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating solid experience in web and digital interface design, with polished, production-ready work.

  • Strong visual craft and attention to detail, with a good sense of typography, composition, layout, hierarchy, imagery and spacing.

  • Strong ability to explore different visual and interface directions and turn an early brief into a polished digital experience.

  • Solid understanding of UX, interaction design and information architecture.

  • Strong understanding of responsive web design and the ability to design intentionally for both desktop and mobile.

  • Ability to apply an established brand identity consistently across digital touchpoints.

  • Ability to balance creative expression with usability and business goals.

  • Experience working with UI components, reusable patterns and design systems.

  • Strong Figma skills.

  • Understanding of accessibility and modern web design principles.

  • Ability to clearly explain and defend design decisions.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects while collaborating closely with designers, marketers and developers.

  • Experience using AI tools as part of the design workflow and openness to exploring new AI-assisted ways of working.

It will be a plus

  • Experience with motion design, animation or interactive web experiences.

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and modern front-end capabilities and constraints.

  • Familiarity with web analytics, experimentation and A/B testing.
