We are looking for a communications leader with product or brand storytelling experience and creative judgement to lead our new Brand Communications & Content team as Team Lead.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the team by defining roles, ownership and priorities, and hiring to fill gaps.

  • Lead, mentor and develop the copy, social, education and design team members through regular feedback, performance reviews and clear growth paths.

  • Set and uphold quality standards for copy and visual storytelling, acting as the final creative review for the team's output.

  • Unite brand copy and design around coherent creative concepts, maintaining brand consistency under the Head of Brand's direction.

  • Own communications and editorial planning across social media, news, newsletters, platform announcements and model education, balancing team capacity against priorities.

  • Design and improve content workflows and review processes with Brand Marketing and Delivery Management, using audience feedback, content performance and media insights to strengthen results.

  • Partner with Brand Marketing on campaign narratives, messaging and creative content, supporting agreed audiences, goals, channels and priorities.

  • Work closely with Product to communicate feature benefits through launches, explainers and ongoing education.

  • Translate the brand platform and product offering into compelling narratives and messaging that build affinity, trust and product understanding.

  • Personally write the highest-stakes communications, including major announcements, press materials, executive quotes and sensitive communications.

  • Lead proactive PR, building media relationships, pitching brand and product stories, handling press enquiries and preparing spokespeople.

  • Manage reputation and crisis communications in partnership with leadership and external specialists.

Job requirements

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, brand storytelling, or editorial leadership, including 2+ years managing multidisciplinary creative or content teams.

  • A track record of building or developing a team, including hiring, coaching and setting clear ownership.

  • Strong planning, stakeholder management and content operations skills, including experience improving production and review workflows.

  • The ability to evaluate copy and visual storytelling and give constructive creative feedback.

  • Exceptional English writing and editing skills across marketing copy, product communications and press materials.

  • Proven ability to turn brand positioning and product capabilities into compelling stories and audience benefits.

  • Hands-on PR experience, including media relations, pitching and securing relevant coverage.

  • Strong editorial judgment across social media, news, newsletters and educational content.

  • Sound judgment in sensitive communications, reputational issues and crisis response.

  • Ability to use audience insights and communications results to improve content and messaging.

  • High ownership, accountability and the ability to combine team leadership with hands-on communications work.

Bonus: Experience in creator platforms, entertainment, gaming, community-led brands, live-service businesses or entertainment.
